An early hand-drawn Syd Cain draft storyboard page from the production of Guy Hamilton's Bond film Live and Let Die.

Eminent art director and production designer Cain worked on many Bond films, including Dr. No and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. He also worked with prestigious director Alfred Hitchcock as production designer on Frenzy.

Cain created these drafts - which he called "roughs" - to show to the director for comments before refining the final storyboard. This page features nine hand-drawn pencil storyboards depicting the scene where James Bond (Roger Moore) used his magnetic watch gadget to attract a nearby rowing boat as he endeavoured to escape the crocodiles that surrounded him. The page is hand-signed by Cain in the bottom right corner. Dimensions: 42 cm x 29.5 cm (16.5" x 11.5")
