UK Quad "Style-B" poster for "Goldfinger" (1964), this being the rarer alternate design with Bond and Pussy Galore placed against a background hand. It is commonly thought that this more "demure" design was commissioned for particular use in Ireland, this is unlikely as UK Quad posters were routinely used. This is unlikely. It was common for alternate Quad designs to be created for big film titles at this time, often one design being prepared for use in the supposedly more cosmopolitan/ metropolitan centres and another for the rest of the country. We have evidence that the "Style-A" Goldfinger Quads were employed in the Republic and can see no reason why this one particular Bond film would have necessitated a special "Irish" poster design. Irrespective, the "Style-B" design was produced in far smaller quantities than the corresponding "Style-A" poster.

30" x 40" (76 x 102 cm)
Condition: Good

Unrestored, folded with slight fold line wear, including tiny paper loss at crossfolds and minor edge creasing. The poster was printed on a semi-gloss format. Overall in very good condition.
