A linen-backed British Quad for Goldfinger, the third entry in the James Bond series, directed by Guy Hamilton. Designed by Robert Brownjohn, this distinctive poster departs from the traditional painted approach in favour of a bold photographic montage. The composition features the gold-painted figure of Jill Masterson (Shirley Eaton), alongside imagery of Sean Connery as James Bond with a weapon drawn, and Honour Blackman as Pussy Galore. Although Eaton's character was famously gilded in the film, it is believed a model was used for the poster imagery, with Eaton herself later appearing in gold on the cover of Life magazine. Brownjohn's innovative design approach-mirroring his title sequence work (in the spirit of collaborators like Saul Bass with Alfred Hitchcock)-helped establish a new visual identity for Bond marketing and remains one of the franchise's most iconic poster styles. Widely regarded as one of the finest Bond films, Goldfinger defined the template for the series, combining exotic locations, gadgets, glamour, humour, and larger-than-life villains, with Gert Fr�be's Auric Goldfinger becoming one of cinema's most memorable antagonists.

Prior to being conservation linen-backed this poster was trimmed by 1" top and bottom. The paper has been replaced and repainted to a high standard. There is also fold line and scattered restoration where needed.
