Bond (Daniel Craig) is handed a parcel containing this key after check in to the Hotel Splendide with Vesper (Eva Green). He then goes outside and uses this key to open his new Aston Martin DBS V12, which made its debut in this film. The key is predominantly metal with a clear acrylic section at the top and two plastic strips on the reverse. The Aston Martin logo is etched into the metal and into the acrylic. The key comes in a clear acrylic case as is seen on screen. The key and case have some wear from production use, including scuffing and scratches. The metal on the key has tarnished in a couple of places, but overall, it remains in an excellent condition. This key is actually an incredibly rare piece of automotive memorabilia too as it’s one of only 3 prototype keys that had been built by Aston Martin for the new model of car ahead of filming.
