Iron Man's (Robert Downey, Jr.) light-up distressed Mk42 helmet from Shane Black's superhero sequel Iron Man 3. The Mandarin (Guy Pearce) destroyed Tony Stark's Malibu mansion, including his many Iron Man suit and helmet builds.

This fiberglass helmet was likely never intended to be worn, and is believed to have been created for use on a puppet or as set decoration for the Stark Labs destruction scene. It is marked "CRASH MK42 HELMET" on the interior and painted ruby and gold. Internal electronics added after production for display purposes and powered via a toggle battery pack illuminate the helmet's frosted acrylic lenses. It is intentionally distressed throughout with nicks, scratches, and silver-color paint streaks to appear damaged.
