Stan Lee's chairback from the production of Jon Favreau's Iron Man. Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) mistook the smoking jacket-clad Stan Lee (Lee) for Hugh Hefner on the red carpet of a Stark Industries charity gala. The cameo continued a time-honored tradition of featuring Lee in films and television series adapted from the Marvel comics he co-created with Jack Kirby, and was the first of his many appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

This black canvas chairback originated from a crew member. It is emblazoned "Stan Lee" in yellow print on one side with the production's logo on the reverse. The canvas exhibits some staining and discoloration from use and exposure. Dimensions: 22" x 7" x 0.25" (56 cm x 18 cm x 0.75 cm)
