One of the biggest successes and stand out characters from the classic sci-fi movie "Forbidden Planet" (1956) was 'Robby the Robot'. So looking to strike while the iron was hot and recoup some of the huge production costs in bringing him to the screen on Altair IV they recast him in the 1957 movie "The Invisible Boy" - Il Robot e lo Sputnik. This stunning large format Italian Two-Panel (4-Fogli) features beautiful painted artwork by Silvano "Nano" Campeggi of 'Robby'. Offered conservation linen-backed with foldlines touched in and flattened out this is a stunning movie poster and a worthy addition to any serious collection. Conservation linen-backed. Prior to being backed the poster was folded and in very good condition. Presents very well with foldlines touched in and flattened out and displaying strong colours.
