Two screen-matched title cards from the classic opening sequence of Philip Kaufman's Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The film's title cards, as well as its credits, were produced by the renowned Pacific Title & Art Studio, which began with titles cards for silent films before moving into film editing and post-production in the sound era. Unique hand-painted splotching and the hand-laid placement of the letters of both cards screen-matches to the eerie opening sequence set in space. The only text segment that does not feature the same splotching is the Copyright line, which screen-matches based on the distinctive spacing intervals between the words and numerals.

These "Donald Sutherland in" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" title cards were created by hand-laying Letraset lettering over matte black backgrounds. In post-production, the text was then overlaid onto space sequence footage by artists Ron Dexter and Howard Preston. The title cards are hand-numbered "4" and "5." The pair exhibits adhesive residue and white discoloration. Dimensions: 12" x 15" (30.5 cm x 38.25 cm)
