This is Inspector Gadget's stunt fedora from the 1999 cartoon adaptation, Inspector Gadget. The tan fedora style hat is synonymous with the gadget filled character and can be seen throughout the film after John Brown transforms into Inspector Gadget. Although multiple Stetson brand hats were custom made for the film, this particular hat was designed and designated for use during stunts, due to it's sewn in spandex swim cap. The swim cap helped keep Gadget's hat snug while he performed his non-stop high risk stunts. The tan, hard brimmed hat features a black hatband and a brown leather interior sweatband with the text, "Stunt, Cement" hand written across the back. This item displays light wear but overall remains in good condition. Marked size 7 3/8.
