Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) crew ephemera. ILM is a division of Lucasfilm founded by Star Wars creator George Lucas. It is a motion picture visual effects, computer animation, and stereo conversion digital studio that launched more than 50 years ago. Images included in this lot are photos of Ralph McQuarrie's farewell address taken by Terry Chostner, the Lucasfilm Christmas Party, Steven Spielberg's 1981 Birthday Party, Huey Lewis and the News, George Lucas, Jane Bay, Tom Smith, the Sheraton Hotel, Dennis Muren on E.T. and Ralph McQuarrie speaking to ILM. Also included are various Lucasfilm Christmas cards, including one by McQuarrie, from the 1980s.

This lot consists of four ILM Christmas cards, three large landscape-format black-and-white photos, 11 smaller landscape-format full-color photos; and five color Polaroid photos. George Lucas and Steven Spielberg appear in some of the candid color photos. The color photos and cards exhibit slight rippling from handling and age. Dimensions: (largest) 10" x 9" x 0.25" (25.5 cm x 23 cm x 0.25 cm)
