A "Column of Fire" VFX storyboard with handwritten annotations by George Lucas from the production of Steven Spielberg's action-adventure Raiders of the Lost Ark. Created by the effects team at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), it depicts the scene where the Ark of the Covenant was opened.

While the storyboard is printed, it is marked as page "41," dated "7.14.80," hand-numbered for shot "OA-60" and hand-annotated in graphite by Lucas with "body goes up [and] away in the column of fire" and the "50x" mark indicates the exact number of frames the shot was to be. Goerge Lucas' unique handwriting style is visible in the annotations. The paper is hole-punched by production and exhibits light fading from age. Dimensions: 11" x 8.5" (28 cm x 21.75 cm)
