Indiana Jones' (Harrison Ford) Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand Ejector revolver from Steven Spielberg's action-adventure film Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indy wielded a Smith & Wesson Mk II as his primary revolver in multiple fight scenes, including the Ravenwood Bar shootout, the Tunisia gunfight, the rescue of Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) from the Nazis, and when he shot the Arab Swordsman (Terry Richards) in their iconic duel.

The Indiana Jones franchise's inaugural film became 1981's highest-grossing film in addition to winning numerous Academy Awards® and a BAFTA®. Its success led to Harrison Ford's recognition as a leading man, and in 1999, the US Library of Congress selected the film for permanent preservation in its National Film Registry.

Rented to the production by UK armorer Bapty, this is believed to be one of two Mk II revolvers used by Ford during production at Elstree Studios and the Tunisia set. A different model of revolver, known as the Stembridge, was briefly used during scenes shot in the United States.

This revolver is designed to shoot .455 blanks and stamped with serial number 37891 and gold Smith & Wesson logos. Production also made several modifications, including boring out and shortening the gun's barrel, adding a custom-made ramped front sight, and applying a patina throughout to make it appear well-worn. The revolver features diamond-patterned walnut grips with a swivel lanyard on the underside. Also included are a Bapty Letter of Authenticity and a Certificate of De-Activation from The London Proof House.

This pistol has been sympathetically deactivated, although the hammer, trigger and chamber remain functional, and it exhibits tarnishing, scratching, and minor dents in the grip from production use and handling. Dimensions: 9.5" x 5" x 2" (24.25 cm x 12.75 cm x 5 cm)
