A hand-drawn Ark of the Covenant production illustration from the production of Steven Spielberg's action-adventure film Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) raced against the Nazis to find the legendary lost Ark of the Covenant.

This concept artwork is rendered in pencil on paper and features a drawing of the "Main Casket Idea", with two detailed sketches - one showing the praying angel figurines on the Ark's lid, and the other depicting a set of curved corner legs. It also displays handwritten design notes and construction annotations, such as "Glass Fibre, Gold Leaf Effect As Gold", "Hardwood Poles" and "Biblical Scene? (Inscribed)". This artwork was drawn by assistant art director John Fenner. This early design closely resembles what was ultimately seen in the film, with other designs by artists such as Joe Johnston not being as close to the final film version as this one. The page exhibits minor creasing. Dimensions: 29.5 cm x 40 cm (11 1/2" x 15 3/4")
