A production-used storyboard binder with a press kit from Steven Spielberg's Raiders of the Lost Ark. Impressed by his script for what would become Michael Apted's Continental Divide, George Lucas and Spielberg hired Kasdan to write the screenplay in 1978 based on an original idea Lucas created circa 1973. The final screenplay, for which Lucas and Philip Kaufman later received "Story by" credit, was completed in December 1979.
This lot originates from the collection of executive producer Howard Kazanjian. It consists of a vinyl three-ring binder filled with 126 pages of printed storyboards with a divider labeled "Exterior Digs." Included with this binder is press kit with a 17-page production booklet, 18 pages of release statements, and 15 black and white production stills in a film branded folder. This lot exhibits sticking vinyl in the binder's interior. Dimensions: 10" x 11.5" x 2" (25.5 cm x 29.25 cm x 5 cm)
