Two pages from Harrison Ford’s very own script from Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark.

In 1936 renowned archaeologist Dr. Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is hired by the United States Government to track down the Ark of the Covenant before Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich can lay their hands on it. Relentlessly pursued by Hitler’s armies, Indy finds himself in a race against time to find the Ark and stop Hitler’s evil plans to end humanity as we know it.

These script pages are printed on pink paper, which would suggest that this is a third script revision. The date of the revision is printed on the top as 9/16/80 (16th September 1980). They feature a conversation between Indy (Ford) and Sallah (John Rhys-Davies) when Indy first arrives in Egypt and meets up with Sallah, one of the country’s most successful excavators. Sallah is working on the Nazi excavation site to uncover the Ark of the Covenant.

The wording on the script between the two characters is slightly different to the final version heard in the film. On the pages, you can see where Ford has highlighted his lines, as well as crosses and revisions he personally made in both pen and pencil.

The pages show very minor wear around the edges from age and storage. There is also a metal staple on the top left corner of the first page and staple holes on the second. In spite of this the pages remain in very good production-used condition.
