Colonel Herman Dietrich's (Wolf Kahler) tunic from Steven Spielberg's Raiders of the Lost Ark. The pinching and misaligned stitching in the tunic fabric of the left sleeve screen-match to when German officer Dietrich updated Rene Belloq (Paul Freeman) on the status of the Egyptian archaeological dig.

This coarse, unsized cotton tunic features four raised metal buttons down the center and matching buttons on four upper and lower chest pockets. The interior features two Bermans & Nathans wardrobe labels hand-marked "Wolf Kahler, Raiders of the Lost Ark, 16224" and "6'/40-34" respectively. Included is a custom wood and glass display case containing color-printed stills of Dietrich during the dig and when his face melted during the classic Ark opening sequence.

Following production, military patches on the epaulettes, collar, and chest were removed. Current patches are replicas tack-stitched on by conservation specialists. The fabric exhibits small tears on the front, sleeves, and back from production use. Dimensions: (case) 41.5" x 32" x 4" (105.5 cm x 81.5 cm x 10.25 cm)
