Marcus Brody's (Denholm Elliott) costume from the high adventure whip cracking movie: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). This fine style of costume would have been worn by Indiana's good, good friend, Doctor Marcus Brody (the late great Denholm Elliott). Marcus wanders about desperately trying to find anyone that can help him in all the hustle and bustle. And who can forget one of the best lines ever, street vendor- “Water?”- Marcus- “No thank you, sir, no. Fish make love in it”.
This suit comprises an unsized beige double breasted suit jacket with an inside label stating “1/2 13 A Denholm Elliot 9300 Brodie #3 Indiana Jones III”. (To note, both Elliott and Brody are spelt incorrectly). The trousers are also beige, unsized and have a label inside stating “2/2 13A 15-” again with Denholm Elliot 9300 Brodie #3 Indiana Jones III. This costume remains in excellent condition since the production. There is even sand remnants in the trousers pockets!
