A model miniature of a nuclear missile with an alien tentacle from Roland Emmerich's Independence Day. In the film's finale, Captain Steven Hiller (Will Smith) and David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) entered the mothership of the tentacled alien invaders, uploaded a computer virus that would disrupt the aliens' shields, and fired a nuclear missile deep into the mothership, destroying it.

This missile model miniature is made primarily of resin and metal with gray simulated-paneling labeled "O-XX," a multitiered gray nose cone, red rings, hinged mid-body fins that can be extended outward, and red fins on the rear thruster. This long tentacle is made of foam and foam latex, painted brown, cast around a length of cable. The missile exhibits a build-up of grime and scuffing throughout, two missing fins, and cracking in the remaining fins with one having been previously broken off and glued back in place. The tentacle, stored coiled, exhibits tearing and staining. Dimensions: (largest) 29" x 5" x 5" (73.75 cm x 12.75 cm x 12.75 cm)
