A collection of damaged robot parts from Alex Proyas’ 2004 futuristic thriller I, Robot.

Damaged robot pieces are strewn across the ground after NS-5 robots attacked decommissioned robots. Sonny also hid from Detective Spooner (Will Smith) in a big box of robot parts in Dr Lanning’s (James Cromwell) office, which also had robot parts hanging from the ceiling. The pieces include a pale-khaki plated resin pelvis, a resin foot constructed around a metal armature and pivoting toes and heel, two silver-painted rubber and metal leg armatures, black mesh musculature pieces and resin ball ‘bullet’ joints. These parts have been intentionally distressed and damaged by production.

In addition to the production-made intentional distressing, the robot pieces exhibit other scuffs and paint wear from production use and age. Overall, they remain in good condition.
