The Grinch's (Jim Carrey) face makeup appliances from Ron Howard's How the Grinch Stole Christmas displayed on a lifecast of Carrey. The Grinch dressed as Santa Claus to steal the presents and all holiday decorations from the citizens of Whoville in retaliation for their love of Christmas.

The beloved Dr. Seuss character's state-of-the-art creature makeup was designed by Rick Baker's Cinovation Studios. Baker and key hair stylist Gail Rowell-Ryan won the Academy Award® for Best Makeup for their work.

These foam latex makeup appliances for The Grinch's cheeks, mouth, nose, and forehead are hand-painted and ornately detailed with wrinkles. Following production, they underwent light sympathetic restoration and were dressed on a biscuit foam bust with a lifecast of Carrey. Replicas of The Grinch's eyes, fur, and Santa-style hat and coat were also added to complete the bust for display. The original foam latex components exhibit minor cracking.
