Dr. Gregory House's (Hugh Laurie) flame cane from House signed by Laurie. Dr. House used a variety of canes throughout the series. In the Season 3 episode "Family," House forced his colleague, Dr. Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), to buy him a flame cane after Wilson's dog broke his previous one. House then used his flame cane until the Season 4 episode "House's Head," in which it was lost in a bus crash.

This cane was donated by the production to a 2009 online fundraising auction benefiting the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation, a 501(c)3 dedicated to providing resources to allow individuals to recognize and create excellence in media culture through such programs as the Archive of American Television, the College Television Awards, and the Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship Program. It features a curved wooden handle and shaft painted black with yellow-and-red flame decals adorning the bottom third, as well as a black rubber ferrule. The cane is signed in silver-color ink with "Well bid!! All the best, Hugh Laurie X." It exhibits some minor scuffing in the wood finish from use and age.
