Having filmed "Dracula" in 1958, Cushing and Lee were reunited in Hammer Studios' first Sherlock Holmes adaptation the following year. Initially pencilled for a series of Holmes movies, audiences didn't enjoy a Hammer production without monsters so the studio dropped any potential sequels. This collector's edition Blu-ray key art is a wonderful montage of characters with Cushing's famed detective sporting his trademark pipe and deerstalker hat.
