Captain Hook's (Dustin Hoffman) stunt hook from Steven Spielberg's Hook. The dastardly hook-handed pirate Hook attempted to destroy the Lost Boys and defeat his rival, Peter Banning (Robin Williams), until Peter revealed the sad old man underneath.

Hook's distinctive custom hook was designed by renowned costume designer Anthony Powell along with makeup supervisor Christina Smith, who both received Academy Award® nominations for their work on the film. For his performance as the classic villain of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan series, Hoffman also received a number of prestigious accolades, including a nomination for a Golden Globe® for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical.

While replicas of Hook's signature hook are widely available on the market, this is one of very few surviving custom original hooks known to exist. It features a metalized vacuum-formed plastic cuff with an ornate metal topper engraved with fleur-de-lis patterns and glued at center with a rubber stunt hook. The hook exhibits cracking to the rubber and paint flaking throughout from production, while some of the wig hairs are coming loose.
