A collection of wedding paraphernalia from the long running television series: Hollyoaks (1995 – 2012). This collection details the wedding of Mercedes Fisher-nee McQueen, (Jennifer Metcalfe) to Riley Costello (Rob Norbury). Included in this set is a 'White Wedding' Matrimonial Standard song book, a wedding invitation and details of forthcoming service booklet. The song book is printed with black ink on a folded A4 cream card, with the white wedding sheet music inside. The back cover states 'Published and printed in Hollyoaks, Cheshire". There are various stains all over, most notably a tea cup ring on the inside top right corner.
The smaller wedding invite "cordially invites you" to the wedding of the characters in this soap, with a picture of a rose on the front and the day and time stated. This is a photocopy which used black ink on folded white A4 card, which is blank except for the front cover.
The "service" piece is also on white folded A4 card which is blank, again except for the front cover which displays what strangely appears to be a maniacal distorted clown approaching a girl with her arms by her sides, with the top reading "service". ( Mercedes never was a 'normal' girl)! This again is a photocopy with black and yellow/orange speckled used ink. All pieces are in good production used condition.
