This is Sebastian Caine’s (Kevin Bacon) mask used in the 2000 Paul Verhoeven’s invisible-man thriller Hollow Man.
An experiment goes horribly awry and scientist Caine (Bacon) becomes permanently invisible. He then begins to slowly unravel, with terrifying consequences.
In order to be seen by his colleagues, they pour latex over his face to make a visible mask. The mask is made of silicone and has a slight look of melted plastic. This recognizable piece comes on its original production wooden stand and includes a production tag which reads ‘Smooth’. There is some wear from production use and age, such as the silicone cracking around the eyes, mouth and nose, but despite this it remains in a very good condition.
Materials: Silicone, Wood.
