Hogfather - Terry Pratchett

Hogfather Mechanical Boar Head

Stock #12130

“Never say die, master. That's our motto.” “I can't say it's ever really been mine.”

The Hogfather’s hog head used in Vadim Jean’s 2006 fantasy book adaptation Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather.

It's Hogswatch on the Discworld and the Hogfather has gone missing, requiring Death (Ian Richardson) to take his place while his granddaughter Susan (Michelle Dockery) endeavours to find out what has happened.

This large boars head can be seen at the end of the film when The Hogfather regresses back to his primitive form and is running away from The Auditors dogs before Susan helps him and he once again is transformed into a man. The head is made from foam rubber with thick punched hair and resin tusks, there is inner mechanics which make the jaw move up and down and the nose wrinkle, there are also bulbs behind the eyes which would light up. The head shows wear from production use and mould spots and a build-up of grime and mold from time spent in storage, the head remains in an otherwise good condition.

Materials: Foam Latex, Plastic, Resin, Faux Fur, Ferrous Metals.
