An Alfred Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins) make-up study piece from the 2012 biopic Hitchcock. The film follows the relationship between iconic director Alfred Hitchcock and his wife, Alma, during the filming of Psycho. The make-up effects that turned Hopkins into Hitchcock earned an Oscar nomination for KNB Effects, who created this head bust for make-up tests.
The Hitchcock bust is made of rubber and foam latex, which has been crafted over a base of foam. The bust is a head mold of Hopkins with prosthetics attached on the chin, nose, and ears. The bust is sprayed with shades of flesh-colored paint as a base color for the make-up.
There are some marks of wear and smudged paint due to age and storage, but the bust is in overall good condition.
