A framed hand-painted concept from the production of Russell Mulcahy's fantasy action-adventure Highlander. Created by production designer Allan Cameron, the artwork depicts the moment The Kurgan (Clancy Brown) raised his sword while experiencing a powerful surge of energy known as the Quickening, moments after beheading Ramirez (Sean Connery).

The concept piece is rendered in acrylic paint and colored pencil, with black marker used for the border. Cameron's signature and the production title are situated beneath the image. The artwork comes mounted in a custom black frame. The lot displays light creasing, minor marks and small rips along the right edge. Dimensions (framed): 32.75" x 21.5" x 1.25" (83.5 cm x 55 cm x 3 cm)
