Concept artwork for a promotional poster for Neil Jordan's High Spirits. Jack Crawford (Steve Gutternberg) met and fell in love with the ghost of Mary Plunkett Brogan (Daryl Hannah) while staying as a guest at her distant cousin Peter's (Peter O'Toole) bed-and-breakfast castle. The film represented Jordan's first foray into Hollywood after his previous film, Mona Lisa, was nominated for the prestigious Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Created for High Spirits' international marketing campaign, this unsigned artwork depicting Mary haunting Jack while Peter drinks in a bath is rendered in mixed media on Bainbridge board. It exhibits liquid staining and discoloration along its edges from age. Dimensions: 25" x 18.5" x 0.5" (63.5 cm x 47 cm x 1.5 cm)
