A Lament Configuration puzzle box from Clive Barker's horror film Hellraiser. Essential to the film's plot, the Lament Configuration puzzle box created a gateway to a dimension of suffering and summoned the demonic Cenobites. Frank Cotton (Sean Chapman) purchased the box at the beginning of the film, and it was eventually taken from him by Kirsty (Ashley Laurence), who banished the Cenobites by closing the box. This lot originally came from the collection of special make-up effects artist Simon Sayce.

One of eight boxes produced for the film, the box is made of solid oak and decorated with ornate, brass-etched panels adhered to each side. A layer of varnish is applied all over to produce a slight shine. There are some signs of light scratching, the brass etchings have broken in some places, and the brass has tarnished in spots. Dimensions: 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm (3" x 3" x 3")
