A Butcher Guard stunt costume from Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Butcher Guards surrounded King Balor's (Roy Dotrice) throne as Prince Nuada (Luke Goss) confronted his father over the missing part of the crown used to control The Golden Army. Nuada made quick work on the guards before he killed his father and took his piece of the crown.

This costume consists of a mask hand-marked "Stunt 2" and "Gaspar, Szabo" on the interior; a vambrace armor component; a plackart with fauld hand-marked "Stunt 1;" a skirt hand-marked "Gaspar Szalbo" and "Stunt 2;" a pair of pants hand-marked "Stunt 2 Gaspar;" and a pair of shoes marked "R1" and "L1" respectively. This helmet has a unique color stripe across its tusk, denoting this as one of the two final Butcher Guards that Prince Nuada kills, before killing the King. This lot exhibits crumbling foam, frayed fibers, discoloration, and chipped paint.
