A Hellboy (Ron Perlman) appliance set and bust from Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy. This lot features three appliances as well as an unfinished Hellboy tail and a foam Ron Perlman lifecast with a skull cap and horn mounts. All three appliances are made of red foam latex. The facial appliance and cap have been painted to match Hellboy's devilish appearance. The head cap covers most of the scalp and has open holes where the horns would be placed. The chest appliance rests on an undated black plastic cast and covers the upper torso and most of the neck. Each appliance resides on a vacuform plastic tray. The tail is also foam latex painted red and has a plug at the end to attach to the main costume. Bits of untrimmed latex are present throughout the tail. The Styrofoam lifecast is topped by a skullcap with plastic mounts of the forehead for affixing horns to Perlman's head. These appliances show minimal wear due to production use and storage, and remain in good condition. Chest dimensions (on tray): 22" x 22" x 11 1/2" (56 cm x 56 cm x 29 cm); scalp dimensions (on tray): 18" x 12" x 8 1/2" (46 cm x 30 cm x 22 cm); face dimensions (on tray): 18" x 12" x 7" (46 cm x 30 cm x 18 cm); horn dimensions (each): 3" x 3" x 2" (8 cm x 8 cm x 5 cm); tail dimensions: 36" x 2" x 2" (90 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm); lifecast dimensions: 6" x6" x 15" (9 cm x 9 cm x 38 cm)
