Hellboy's (Ron Perlman) Boots

This lot will be sold on Tuesday, 1st December (day 1 of the auction.) Lots 1-463 will be sold on day 1 (lots 464-913 will be sold on day 2). The auction will begin at 2:00 pm GMT. Hellboy's (Ron Perlman) boots from Guillermo del Toro's fantasy action film Hellboy. Hellboy wore his big leather boots throughout the film.

The boots, made by Hungarian company Ciankali, have thick rubber soles and steel caps. The tongues of each boot have "Hellboy Hero 48" handwritten on the inside, and the soles have remnants of artificial snow from the scenes in the snowy cemetery. Each boots laces up at the front and has a zip down the side, and is intentionally distressed to look well-worn, with notable scuffing around the toe. The footwear has some additional wear from production use and age, including scratches to the leather.
