A uniquely finished limited edition print of German artist Heiner Meyer's, b. 1953 -, Pop Art painting "Meeting."
Originally painted in 2007, "Meeting" recreates the famous photograph featuring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and Marilyn Monroe. This fine art print on paper, embellished with amber varnish, is hand-labelled in pencil "46/100," denoting one of 100 limited editions, each uniquely recreated. The piece is also hand-signed by Meyer in pencil and is mounted on a board panel. Dimensions: 86 cm x 65.5 cm x 0.25 cm (33.75" x 25.75" x 0.25")

About the Artist:
Heiner Meyer is an influential figure in contemporary Pop Art and one of Germany's most important. His work fuses icons of celebrity, luxury, and visual culture with references from historical art. After early stints in London and as an assistant to Salvador Dali, Meyer studied at the HBK Braunschweig and went on to create vivid, layered compositions of comic figures, stars, fashion labels and classical motifs. His paintings and sculptures critique the interplay between consumption, image-making, and status, and are held in major international collections.
