A Lincoln letter from Quentin Tarantino's Western mystery The Hateful Eight.

Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson) carried a forged letter from Abraham Lincoln as insurance for his safety. He showed it to fellow bounty hunter and former comrade John Ruth (Kurt Russell), who believed the letter to be authentic. In the final scene, Sheriff Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins) read the letter for Warren while they died from gunshot wounds.

This intentionally distressed letter addresses Marquis by name, and praises his military success, among other sentiments.

The letter is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the original propmaker, Ross MacDonald, at Brightwork Press. Dimensions: 9.25" x 7.50" (23.25 cm x 19 cm)
