Grouch Douglass's (Michael Madsen) "Joe Gage" costume from Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight. Douglass wore his costume while masquerading as cowboy Joe Gage on his way to, and in, Minnie's Haberdashery.

The Hateful Eight earned three Academy Award® nominations. Its ensemble cast was particularly well-praised with notice from the Critics Choice Awards® and the International Cinephile Society.

This costume consists of a Stetson cowboy hat (Size 7 5/8) with serial number "RF956358," and an interior label hand-marked "Joe Gage Hero #1"; a bandana; a vest; a Ralph Lauren shirt; a J. Crew henley (Size XL); a pair of gauntlets; Gaspar gloves (Size 10); a belt hand-marked "40"; Levi's bootcut jeans (Size 38x36); and Nocona boots (U.S. Size 11) with snow spikes. The interior of the boots are hand-marked "Joe Gage Spikes Snow." Also included is a production wardrobe tag labeled "Joe Gage (Grouch Douglass)" and "Clean #4," as well as a color-printed behind-the-scenes still of Madsen in costume on the Haberdashery set. The costume is intentionally distressed by production to appear well-worn and exposed to elements.
