A prototype of the Nimbus 2000 brooms gifted to executives in celebration of Chris Columbus' Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Broom maker Warren Olney, also known as "The Broom Man," was hired to create 25 brooms based on Harry Potter's (Daniel Radcliffe) Nimbus 2000 to be gifted to Warner Bros. executives, using details and measurements taken from the film-used props. Olney had a local furniture company called In the Woods make the handles.

This broom, originally obtained from Olney's estate, is the original prototype that Olney put together during the creation of those gifted brooms. It has a long wooden riding handle with a dark brown finish and a tight head of tan straw bristles tied with leather cord. Some of the bristles exhibit bending or loosening from age and handling. Dimensions: 43" x 4" x 4" (109.25 cm x 10.25 cm x 10.25 cm)
