A wax-sealed hero Hogwarts acceptance letter from Chris Columbus' Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) received a number of letters from Hogwarts inviting him to study there, which were destroyed by Vernon Dursley (Richard Griffiths). Hero envelopes with a real wax seal were made to be held close to the camera by Harry and are much more scarce than the hundreds of envelopes which spewed from the Dursley's fireplace and letterbox, which feature printed seals and did not contain letters within.

The envelope is addressed to "Mr H Potter, The Cupboard Under the Stairs, 4, Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey," and features the Hogwarts coat of arms on the back along with an unbroken wax seal. The envelope has a piece of paper contained within. The wax seal exhibits minor damage. Dimensions: 8.25" x 6" (21 cm x 15.25 cm)
