A SFX bludger from Chris Columbus' fantasy-adventure film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) hit a bludger with a bat whilst learning about quidditch. This bludger was specifically designed for use later on in the film when Gryffindor competed against Slytherin in a game of quidditch.

The bludger is made of rubber, designed to look like iron. A hole in the bludger has its shape maintained by a hollow metal cylinder. Through this hole, the bludger was mounted onto an air mortar, creating the effect of it being magically launched at the start of the game of quidditch. Dimensions: 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm (6" x 6" x 6")
