A golden snitch executive crew gift from the production of Chris Columbus' fantasy-adventure film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The Golden Snitch was the most important ball in the broomstick-based sport known as Quidditch, and replica snitches were gifted to Warner Bros. executives and VIPs to commemorate the film's release. Only 50 are thought to have been produced.

This snitch is constructed from gold-plated brass, and has intricate silver-coloured wings. It is presented in a custom-made wooden box with a black velvet interior and brass clasps. The lot also includes a Warner Bros. certificate of authenticity, and displays minimal wear from handling. Dimensions (snitch): 16 cm x 5 cm x 4 cm (6¼" x 2" x 1½"); (box): 13.5 cm x 22 cm x 11 cm (5¼" x 8¾" x 4¼")
