A prototype broom from the production of Chris Columbus' fantasy-adventure Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and a Gilderoy Lockhart (Kenneth Branagh) set dressing book from the sequel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. In the first film, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) learnt to fly on a broom during a class taught by Madame Hooch (Zoe Wanamaker). In the sequel, Lockhart's books were seen in Diagon Alley and his classroom at Hogwarts.

The prototype comprises a metal handle and a wooden broom section. Lockhart's book has a paper cover and is filled in with polystyrene. Dimensions (broom): 179 cm x 24.5 cm x 15.5 cm (70.5" x 9.75" x 6")
