A basilisk maquette from the production of Chris Columbus' fantasy adventure sequel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The Basilisk, also called the Serpent of Slytherin, attacked Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) while under Tom Riddle's (Christian Coulson) influence.

This maquette was created during the pre-production stage as a visual reference. It assisted in finalising the creature's look before the large-scale models were built for filming.

The two Basilisk heads are made of resin and mounted on a wooden stand with a felt underside. Dimensions: 32 cm x 39.5 cm x 31.5 cm (12.5" x 15.5" x 12.5")
