Tom Riddle's (Christian Coulson) SFX blood diary from Chris Columbus' Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) stabbed the diary with a basilisk fang from the Serpent of Slytherin to stop the manifestation of Tom Riddle possessing Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright). Later in David Yates' Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Headmaster Professor Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) revealed to Harry that the diary was one of Riddle's (Hero Fiennes Tiffin/Frank Dillane), aka The Dark Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), Horcruxes: an item used by a wizard or witch that housed a piece of their soul to become immortal only after they committed a murder.

The Potter films redefined the Hollywood blockbuster trends and established the creation of media franchises. The success of the split finales was later replicated by other franchises. The franchise has won 142 awards over eight films, with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 winning 45.

This lot consists of a black leatherette bound notebook with gold-color metal corner fixtures and the interior pages adhered together, the book remaining open. The back of the book features a cutout in the cover with tubes SFX protruding from the opening. This lot exhibits white grime on the cover and tarnishing to the corner fixtures.
