A pair of eye-catching Japanese B2 format film posters for Hal Ashby's dark romantic comedy "Harold and Maude" (1971). From first release in Japan, 1972 comes a poster dominated by a white Jaguar E-Type convertible wrapped in a red ribbon with a headshot of the titular Harold (Bud Cort). The second poster is from the limited theatrical Japanese re-release in 2010 and features Bud Cort and Harold and Maude (Ruth Gordon) on a motorbike. Both examples present very well and are in original unrestored condition. (Provenance: The Personal Collection of Bryan Fuller)

Condition: Excellent

1971 Poster - Unrestored, rolled (as issued). Displays to excellent effect with minimal handling and age wear. 2010 Poster - Conservation linen-backed. Prior to being backed the poster was rolled and presents to excellent effect.
