The Wendigo bust from episode 201 "Kaiseki" of Bryan Fuller's thrilling drama series Hannibal. Will Graham's (Hugh Dancy) haunting manifestation of Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) appears as the ancient beast representative of cannibalism. Will sees the phantasm arise from a riverduring a hallucination.

Painted in solid black, the piece is a fusion of the mythological beast with Hannibal's likeness in the face. The head and torso are one hollow piece made of fiberglass. The torso is concaved and finished with a sinewy build with muscles flaring from the neck. A hole is drilled at the back of the neck, possibly for mounting purposes. A removable resin plate is located at the back of the head which is secured with metal screws. The antlers are separate resin cast pieces which have been bolted in place. The entire piece rests on a stand constructed of black painted PVC piping which fits into the opening on the underside of the torso. This piece shows light wear but remains in good condition. Dimensions: 48½" x 32" x 20" (123 cm x 81.5 cm x 51 cm)
