A prop cello neck seen in “Fromage” episode 108 of NBC’s award-winning drama Hannibal. In the episode, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) investigates the murder of a man whose body was displayed with a cello neck running into his gaping mouth and throat. This cello neck screen matches the piece used in the sadistic arrangement from a scene early in the episode.

The neck is constructed of wood painted black along the front of the neck while the scroll is finished with a warm stain. The cello’s strings run halfway down the neck where they are held on with wire. The pieces tuning pegs are fully functional. The item shows slight wear from use during production but remains in great condition. Dimensions: 30” x 5½” x 4” (76 cm x 14 cm x 10 cm)
