Michael Myers' (Brad Loree) screen-matched burned mask from Rick Rosenthal's Halloween: Resurrection. In the film's final scene, a coroner (Ananda Thorson) unzipped Myers' body bag and revealed his burned, melted mask, before the killer's eyes suddenly opened. In the alternative "Axe" ending, Myers' burned mask was revealed to Sara (Bianca Kajlich) and Freddie (Busta Rhymes) as Myers lay seemingly dead on a gurney outside the burned-down house. This mask screen-matches based on unique wear points and weathering to the ending morgue scene.

Michael Myers' iconic masks, worn throughout the film franchise, are based on the mask used in the original 1978 film, which was a production-altered version of a Don Post Studios Star Trek Captain Kirk mask, created from a cast of William Shatner's face made for the 1975 horror film The Devil's Rain.

The slip latex mask is painted white and exhibits intentional distressing. There are holes in the chin and under the left eye, and latex hand-painted in reds, greens and browns is applied across the back of the head, on the crown and over the eyes to create the effect of melting.
