"Halloween II" is a horror film directed by Rick Rosenthal in his directorial debut. It was written and produced by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence, who reprise their roles as Laurie Strode and Dr. Sam Loomis, respectively. This movie is the second installment in the "Halloween" series and serves as a direct sequel to "Halloween" (1978). The plot picks up where the first film ended, with Michael Myers following Laurie Strode to a nearby hospital, while Dr. Loomis continues his relentless pursuit of him.
