A revised script from the production of Hugh Hudson’s 1984 adventure film Greystroke: The Legend of Tarzan Lord of the Apes.

The 5th draft revised script is based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ 1914 novel Tarzan of the Apes, and the screenplay is credited to Robert Towne and Michael Austin. Bound by two metal fasteners in cream card, the front cover features the film's title and an image of a man riding a lion; the spine of the script displays the word ‘Greystroke’ written in black market pen. The script inside consists of up to 141 pages printed onto white paper and is dated 1982. The name labelled the script belongs to a crew member from the art department on the production.

The script bears minimal wear from production use and age, including staining on the cover and rusting to the metal fasteners; otherwise, it remains in excellent condition.
