A revised draft script from Joe Dante’s 1984 horror comedy, Gremlins. In the film, a cute and cuddly Mogwai named Gizmo inadvertently spawns a swarm of crazed and dangerous monsters that wreak havoc on a picturesque, New York town.
Bound with three metal split pins, this production-used script is dated September 1st 1978 and is credited to Chris Columbus (screenplay). The front cover page features three various stamps with dates and one which is titled as important. With ‘Gremlins’ hand written on the ‘spine’ of the script consists of 120 unannotated pages printed single-sided on A4 paper. This version of the script is an enthralling insight into the development of the film, with sections differing from the final cut of the film such as the dialogue and characters in the beginning sequence in the store.

The script shows signs of wear including some small tears and a fold line on the front cover page and minor marks to the back of the script. However, the script remains in very good condition and is a great insight into the comedy horror.
